You did a good job on this one. This song has all the qualities necessary to make me want to listen to it anytime. Maybe you overdid it on the background bass a bit there, but it doesn't get in the way too much. The main tune more than makes up for it - it sounds positive and improves your mood. To make this better, I say makes the background music flow better.

This is probably one of the songs I like the most on NG so far, there are so many good things I could say about this, I don't know where to start. I was amazed when I read your comment after listening to the song first - sand, the desert, those really were the first things that came to my mind when I was listening to this song. The basses are perfect, the rhythm is fast and powerful enough to carry the effects well and the song just breathes dark, like you said. Dark in a cool way. This would really fit well with some villain from a movie, possibly in a chase with his foe. Another thing - this song starts of well and builds it's way up even better, doesn't let go of the tempo.
Kudos, great job.

What I like about this song is the great flow it has. Fast beats just seem to blend in very well with that pitched, angelic female voice to provide a nice listening experience. I could just relax and, so to say, "fly" on the wings of this song. Another well-implemented effect are the deep basses in the beginning of the song and of course, the changes in tone of the voice. I could say that I would like it more if it was a little slower, but it's pretty good the way it is right now too.

"You sure are banging it!"
This is definitely not the type of music I'd like to listen to, but I see some impressive guitar skills here and I can see why those who do like this sort of music would like it. Very fast tempo, fits the title.

...though a bit too loud for my taste. This song starts of with a blast and moves on in that direction till it's end. I am not a fan of Megaman, but I can easily imagine this theme in a game like that - it meets it's purpose, and that is too bump up the adrenaline I believe. However, this is not something I'd like to listen to more than once, could be just me, but I find little variety and it just seems to go on and on, making it more suitable as a game music than a song on it's own.

Uhhm...ever thought of turning the volume down? That should help. All I can say is, read the description. It's all mentioned there why this song is what it is.
Thanks for checking it out though, even the fact that you're not really into this. Oh and btw...ambient varies less than metal, infact...it hardly varies much. You might consider this next time writing a review for a metal song or a song in general, just to let you know about that. ;)

Well done, listening to this song is a pleasure. It's filled with positive energy, has got a nice tune and effects that really contribute, like the sound of the waves (that's just a superb touch). Do I also hear the seagulls? I don't even have to think about it, the picture of a shoreline on a sunny day, birds flying, gentle wind...it comes up on it's own. I'm sure the Lady will love it like we all do, very kind of you.
Author's Response:
The seashore was the first thing I threw up there. I love to listen to such sound effects and let them take me away. It helps to think of the warm white sands, the crystal blue oceans. Distant seagulls, and of course, my dear friend LadyArsenic. This is her song after all :D!
So yes, there are seagulls in the mix... probably should have made them louder. Though their "singing" got a little intrusive at some points.
I hope she does, thank you for your review Githzerai! I am glad you liked it!

Hey, this isn't bad at all. Slow guitar, the melody that reminds me somewhat of those cowboy movies, enough variety to break the monotony...
I am not sure whether your title has influenced the picture I have in my head while listening to this, but this definitely brings up images of sunset in the desert and the red sand...perhaps a campfire. What I also liked about is the "crescendo" part somewhere in the middle, some good guitar skills shown there. Overall, it's a nice, complete song, you have all the right to be proud of it. The bad? Well, maybe it's a tad too long and I wish it had more "slow" parts like the ones in the beginning.
Author's Response:
Hey man, thanks for the positive review! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the comments and constructive ctiticism! I agree it is a bit long, but while recording I just didn't want the song to end, haha!
Once again, thanks!

I usually like these "power" remixes of old songs. At first, this one sounded like it's going to be a really good one. Then I realized it was taking too long for the song to build up, and I didn't like how you remixed the main part - it's a bit too generic and noisy. Those beats in the background I like however. If you only built your whole remix around it and kept the original theme minus the vocals...it would be much better.

Not bad, there are some nice things I could say about this song. For one, the 2nd half of it - much better than the first, it suddenly builds up and sounds mighty. Trumpets and those loud drums are also a bold, but good move, they add some character to this song. What I did not like was that it's a bit too short, and that it starts sounding a bit repetitive after a while. Still, it's Tom Fulp's favorite, so I had to see what it was about - turns out it's okay.

The main theme with the flute here has an incredibly happy feel to it - I imagine an elf, jumping around in the woods while playing that flute we can hear. Another thing I like is the guitar that occasionally follows. Although at moments I could say that it sounds a bit generic, like it came out of a Zelda-like Nintendo game. Though the wisely-implemented basses do a good job on covering that a bit. Not much else I could say here, it's a quite nice melody, perhaps it needs more diversity but I could still say it breathes quality for what it is.
Author's Response:
go listen to the vocal version I submitted after this one - it adds more variety :)
and ironically this song has actually been used in zelda videos on youtube - so it seems you're not the only one that got that feeling XD
thanks for the review!
